Improve My Yoga Practice with Personal Instruction
Yoga is fun and inspiring in a class full of people, but it is fundamentally a personal experience, and each yoga practitioner has different strengths, focuses, and aspects of their practice that they wish to improve upon. With individualized attention from Wildflower Yoga, you can deepen your understanding of yoga postures, your personal yoga practice, and ultimately your Self.
Personal Instruction sessions can be online or in-person and are dedicated to:
- Poses that you would like to work on
- An individualized hatha yoga practice
- Specific areas of the body that are challenging to you, or in which you wish to strengthen or increase flexibility
- Modifications for poses that you find challenging
- Individualized meditation and/or mantra practices
Reduce Aches, Pains, or Stress with Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy offers real, tangible practices to support your journey to wellness. Physical postures are the start, but then control of the breath is a more subtle practice that brings even greater benefit. Meditation and mantra practice have even greater depth and ability to restore harmony to your life. Author and bodyworker Tom Myers once said “the medicine of the future is behavioral change,” and I help people shift unhelpful habits into helpful ones. Behavioral change is difficult if you do not have support or accountability. I offer support and accountability. In Yoga Therapy (In Spiritual Coaching), we take small steps to implement good habits over time, so they are manageable and highly doable. Yoga Therapy can help:
- Reduce insomnia
- Manage stress, anxiety, and depression
- Relieve physical pain such as back, neck, or shoulder pain
- Manage chronic pain
- Relieve pain due to injury
- Reduce effects of arthritis and osteoporosis
Increase Happiness with Spiritual Coaching
With Spiritual Coaching, you get the personal attention of a Yoga Therapist and experienced Meditator who has taken her own journey from the questions “Who am I?” and “What do I want in life?” to a deeper understanding of her purpose on this planet. Me! With Spiritual Coaching, I help people move from just managing in life to thriving.
To thrive means to understand and recognize who you are and to live from that authentic place. To thrive means when day-to-day challenges with work, family, or relationships arise you keep a cool head and respond to a situation with exactly what is needed. To thrive means offering compassion to yourself as well as to others. To thrive means to look forward to waking up in the morning.
To thrive means to feel good about yourself in body, mind, and heart. To thrive means you enjoy being with others but you also enjoy being alone with yourself. To thrive means, in a situation where you feel uncomfortable or out of sorts, you still have a grounded center within yourself that you can return to. To thrive means you have a grounded center that helps guide your actions and words authentically. To thrive means you contribute to life in a meaningful way. To thrive means you have the opportunity to express yourself in ways that are fulfilling.
There are physical things to address, like getting enough sleep at night, eating well, and keeping the body healthy and strong with yoga and breathing practices; and there are mental and spiritual items to be aware of, like looking forward to waking up in the morning. When you are faced with a situation that is challenging or uncomfortable you know just how to respond to restore harmony.
In Spiritual Coaching, we use all of the tools yoga has to offer, yoga poses, breath work, meditation, mantra practice, daily lifestyle habits and more. This is the most complete one-on-one training that I offer.
